The Basics
I am a fourth-year Business Administration student at the University of Florida. I plan on attending law school in the fall and eventually becoming a corporate attorney. While I continue on my path, my goal is to carry out life with integrity and purpose.
About Me
From an early age, I developed a deep appreciation for learning about different cultures. Growing up in a small town on the border of suburban Chicago and rural Illinois, my exposure to diversity was limited. My childhood was shaped by routine and familiarity, with few opportunities to truly engage with new perspectives. Soccer became my bridge to the outside world, allowing me to connect with teammates from various backgrounds. Through soccer, I gained an early understanding of the value of diverse experiences, lessons that would later shape my commitment to embracing and appreciating the world around me.
When I attended the University of Florida, I was introduced to a community that extended far beyond what I had previously known. Surrounded by peers from different backgrounds, I found myself constantly learning from those around me. Engaging with new perspectives not only broadened my worldview but also reinforced my belief in the value of lifelong learning. In May of 2023, I studied abroad in Greece for two weeks. Although it was for a short period of time, it was one of the most rewarding experiences I have ever had the opportunity to be a part of. I was able to see the world, outside of the United States, for the first time.
After my time in Greece, I developed an even greater desire to explore new cultures and perspectives. It reinforced my understanding that learning extends far beyond the classroom and is most impactful when experienced firsthand. Since then, I have remained committed to embracing new experiences, whether through travel, meaningful conversations, or immersing myself in unfamiliar environments.
